This mission drives everything we do. We believe every person has a God-given purpose waiting to be discovered. That's why we're passionate about creating a place where authentic faith changes everything. Through powerful worship, practical Biblical teaching, and genuine community, we help people wake up to the greater story God has for their lives.
The Journey That Shaped Us
What began in 1958 with 32 people in a movie theater has grown into a thriving community. Founding Pastor Tom Whidden responded to the call of God to plant a church in Concord at a revival service at Southeastern College. His vision was to reach Cabarrus County with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Today, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. Douglas Witherup, that vision continues to expand. Our state-of-the-art facility serves as a home where people of all ages can encounter God and discover their calling.
